Announcements and Upcoming Events:
Hospitals and Institutions
The purpose of an H&I meeting is to carry the NA message of recovery to addicts who do not have full access to regular Narcotics Anonymous meetings. H&I meetings/ presentations, except for those in longer-term facilities, are intended to simply introduce those attending to some of the basics of the NA program. The North Central Wisconsin Area H&I Subcommittee is in need of your support to make these meetings happen. Addicts in these facilities are counting on us to be there when we say we are going to be there. For more information on Hospitals and Institutions check out the following pieces of literature:
We have four Hospitals and Institutions meetings in our area. If you are interested in speaking at one of these facilities, please talk to your GSR!
Our vision is that one day: Narcotics Anonymous has universal recognition and respect as a viable program of recovery. Carrying the NA message has been an important part of many of our members’ recovery and has helped some of us to discover and develop our abilities. The NA message of recovery can reach many people with your support. Participating in the PR subcommittee gives you a chance to make a positive difference in the lives of others. NA Phone Meetings
If you know someone who is sick, lives in a rural area, has trouble attending meetings, truck drivers, whose job makes it difficult for them to attend face to face meetings regularly, or who might be living with or caring for a person with a disability, these meetings are for them. NA Phone Meetings are not meant to be a replacement for face to face meetings. If you are interested in going to meetings with people from around the world please feel free to join us! We are recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean.
